Our client, ‘Independent Verification Services’ or better known as “IVS” are recognised as New Zealand’s premier, independent provider of Biosecurity and environmental training, auditing and inspection services. IVS have a team of smart, talented people who are committed to helping exporters and importers of products smoothly and seamless fulfil their regulatory requirements. A sustainable and growing business that creates value for their team and stakeholders. Due to continuous growth, IVS find themselves in need of a savvy Operations Manager to join the team.
As IVS’s Operations Manager you will bring your leadership experience to effectively lead IVS’s audit, export inspection and certification as well as import biosecurity and vehicle inspection services. Your role would cover a range of responsibilities from leading teams with diverse backgrounds to financial and budget management. You would need to keep up to date and understand regulatory environments for Forestry and Biosecurity programs to ensuring delivery meets expectations. An understanding of SOP’s and quality management systems is a crucial part to this role, working alongside the Technical and Compliance Manager to build and maintain key relationships with MPI, Customs and NZTA.
Our client is looking for a proven leader to take on the role of Operations Manager! Do you understand import and export requirements and offer strong reporting and technical writing skills? Then this might be the perfect opportunity for you! You will have a passion for providing an extremely high standard of client service and exceptional relationship building skills. Our ideal candidate will have experience in the forestry and primary industry and be proficient in quality systems and audit processes. Overall, you will have a high level of communication skills and can relate to a variety of different people.
